Craig Nichols Farms. Farms -- with an 's' -- is truly descriptive, as fouth-generation farmer Craig (above next to a young Honeycrisp platning) is also a blueberry, raspberry, and hog grower. Plus he runs a contracting/excavation business! Craig has gone 'whole-hog' with Honeycrisp, as we looked at a young 20 acre planting of the variety planted on various rootstocks (MM.111, MM.106, CG.30, and M.26). A wood chip mulch was being used to promote growth, which appeared to be working.
